K.R. - My Waddington names are in St. Pancras Parish, London, England and are from the 1830s on to California. Actually it has been used as a middle name. My George Skinner has children with Waddington - Edward Waddington Skinner (1830s), his daughter Lydia Waddington Skinner (b. 1850s - she married James Flood my gr grandfather), and my mother who was born in San Francisco was named Romla Waddington Flood (1909-2001). Since this is not a 'ususl' name I know there must be a connection here somewhere - could be a collateral family, My Mother was VERY proud of her name - her mother told her it was a very distinguished name in England - and she was named for family - which I can't find. What are the dates and places of your Waddington family? Margie marhinton@earthlink.net
