Abraham Flory (1764-1794) and wife Mary
I joined the DAR on the Revolutionary War service of Abraham Flory, Jr (1764 Lancaster-1794 Somerset Co, PA) whose was a private in the militia from Franklin County, PA. (no proof that he actually served, but he did pay the Supply Tax which the DAR counts for 'public service')
He married Mary, surname unknown, about 1792 in Somerset County. Bunderman's genealogy states that he drowned in the Yohoghenia River in 1794. The Orphan Court records show that he had three children at this time - twins Abraham and Joseph, and a son Jonas. What happened to his wife Mary? Did she go to Carroll County OH with her sons? Did she remarry? Was she possibly a Miller, daughter of Henry Miller who helped settle the estate? ANY clues appreciated!
