Hello, i'm glad to have found this board.
I'm looking for information about Abbie Graber (nee fluharty) daughter of Simeon and Eliza Jane Fluharty who married Edward Graber in Bridgeport, Belmont County, Ohio in Dec 1899. They had one daughter Vera born about 1903. They later moved to Vincennes, Indiana. Abbie was till living in the 1930 census in Vincennes, but neither Edward(dead?) or Vera(married) were listed. I found Abbie burried in the 1960's in Wetzel, W VA.

Edward Graber was born and raised in Pomeroy, Ohio

any more information would be appreciated.

I am so pleased to find this source. I believe I came upon a request regarding Vern Fluharty. He was my uncle, son of Charles Oscar, son of Lively and Cleora Bowser. His brother was my father, Irwin Adrian. He was a diplomat, author, and university professor. He was, indeed, the author of Decision At Sundown.

My mother's name is/was Barbara Fluharty, born and raised in West Virginia. Now living in Indiana.

My grandparents' names were Elsie and Rayner Fluharty.

I'm sure with a more detailed discussion with my mother this could be figured out.

Jhave My Grandfather Jackson Lee, married Elsie L Brownlee. He was born in 1887. I think his dad was James A. and his mother was Marilla.

f you are referring to Jason Lee Fluharty born 16 Jul 1887 and died 10 Oct 1966, he is the son of David Benton Fluharty and Mary Hendershot. You and I would be cousins. Our common ancestor would be James Fluharty and Lucinda Jane Jones. For more on this line, look here:

Would love to know if you have continued with this. I to am putting together a fictional work based on her life. We are related through Hannah's son, Noah, his son Alexander, his son George. Hannah's father was an indentured servent if you don't have that.

someone told me that the fluharty's have some gumps running around there family history. i am looking for herbert gump and wife hazel lough. married probably between 1910 and 1920. hazel was my grandmother's lodest sister. have nothing but their names and their children, theodore, lewis, simon and vivian. lived in around fairview, wanna or miracle run w.v. any help would be appreciated

Nancy & Charles are also my g-g-g-grandparents through their daughter Sarah Virginia West w/o Charles w. Ruckman. I have just pieced together through (ancestry.com) that Nancy was the daughter of William(Noah, John Fleehartee) and Mary Snodgrass. It look like ( I have no proof) that Charles died around 1850. Nancy later married Richard Lemley.
