Rosa Fly Larkins was my great -grandmother, too. My Grandfather was her son Tony Edward (my mother was his 3rd daughter, Doris June). He always told us that his dad was Irish and his mother was Scottish. I do not know any of this for a fact, he died when I was 11 and I only met Grandma Larkins once in my life. Some of uncle Alga's grandchildren live in South Carolina, perhaps they would know something. I do not know how to get in touch with them. I do not think Grandma Larkins was Cherokee, though.
