Surnames: FORD, FOARD, WITT, WHITT, PURYEAR
Thank you to anyone with info on this family line.
WHO are the parents of this Jerald, Jarrell, "Gerald David Ford" born circa 1789 in Halifax Co VA? He married Keziah, Kesiah, Cassy WHITT or WITT(dau of Wm Whitt-Rev War) in 1825 and he was in the WAR of 1812.
Gerald and Keziah would be the parents of James Ford who married Rebecca Puryear in 1854 and David Ford who married Berry Ann in 1858.
Not to be confused with the elder Jarrold-Gerald Ford born 20 yrs earlier (son of Henry and Frances) who married Nancy Haley: the younger Gerald would likely be a son or nephew of the elder?
Would anyone have more info from Jarrell Ford's 1825 marriage record or War of 1812 record?
