Hello David, Your mother Ruth Ann and I were born on the same day, 24 March 1948 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati. Ginny and Mom shared a hospital room after Ruth Ann was born one hour before me. Although Ginny and Vito moved to Florida shortly after our biths, they returned to Cinti around our one year anniversary. My parents, Fred and Norma Betz, remained friends with your grandparents for many years. Mom died in Dec. 2005 and Dad died 11 Mar 2012. I now live in Colorado and have done genealogy for many years. Hi Joana, i'm also your relative, maybe a cousin or something like that...I live in Brazil, Sao Paulo, and 27 years old...
If you want mora information, try folchi in Brasil in google, or the comunity in orkut. My mail victor.folchi@terra.com.br. it's nice to know that the folchi's are around the world, not just in Italy or Brazil.

Mi chiamo Shirley Folchi ed abito in Brasile.

It would like Its Aid to obtain information of Edoardo Folchi and Blandina Soriani, married. Probably they liveed in Ferrara - FERRARA - Italy where they had had a name son Vittorio Vitaliano Folchi (my great-grandfather) that it emigrated to Brazil.
Vittorio Folchi (Tailor) married Celestina Campagnoli in 31 December 1888 in Ferrara.

I am the great grandson of Vito Folchi. My Mother is Ruth Ann Folchi and her brother is of course.....Vito the Third LOL HAHAHA. My cell number is 602 481.9406 I now live in Arizona USA. My Grandfather came from Italy to New York and relocated in Cincinnati Ohio. Hope to hear from you soon. David

Amanda thank you for your response. All that I know is that my grandfather Giovanni Folchi was from Casumaro and his wife's name was Berta. They had one daughter Rose (my mother). I do know from my mother that my grandfather had two brothers Denago and Lorenzo and two sisters Clorinda and Barbara. I have found out from my mother that she has a cousin named Ida who still lives in Casumaro, but I do not know who Ida's father was. I know that there are other cousins but do not know their names or even if they are living. Casumaro is located in Northern Italy. It is possible that maybe your relatives may be my mom's relatives. Please let me know if you hear anything else. Thank you and looking forward to hearing from you.
P.S. One other thing, both my grandparents came over to Canada and lived there until they died. My grandfather's brothers and one sister (Barbara) lived in Italy. Clorinda came to Canada and lived there until she died. My mom lives in Pennsylvania.

I am a Folchi. My maiden name was Folchi. My father is named Albert Folchi. His father Umberto was from Italy..not sure where but I could find out...Northern Italy though, I am sure of that.

Hello, I live in the United States. Am looking for any living relatives -- such as cousins with the last name of Folchi -- or if they have married into the Folchi name. My grandfather was Giovanni Folchi, married to Berta. They, along with any living relatives would be from the town of Casumaro, Italy. I am looking to locate anyone of my living relatives (as my grandparents have died), as I am working on my family tree. Please email me with any information. Thank you.
