Variations you wouldn't expect for searching Follansbee

Surnames: Follansbee
I recently searched the Census for my Follansbees in Leominster MA, and found these incorrect entries in the database (the handwriting on the Census form was misread):
In 1880, the name is listed as Tollensbee.
In 1920, it is Tallensber.
In 1930, the name is Hallensber.
I figured this out by using wild cards. I also used the
names of neighbors to get to the right page and then to read down the page to my known address.
Interestingly, these are the only occurrences of these names in those years in a nation-wide search!
I hope this helps with some of your brick walls.
