My wife's grandmother, Margaret Folliard was born in County Mayo around 1892-1895 (she had a tendency to change it as she grew older). She had a sister named Winnifred, and brothers Michael, James and Patrick. Their father was also Patrick Folliard. We do not know the name of the mother, and have no information, aside from the name, of the father.

Margaret (Maggie) and James emigrated to the US in 1912, Winnifred was already in the US, living in Idianapolis. Margaret and James settled in Chicago, along with Patrick. Michael ended up in Chicago as well.

I think Patrick married a woman named Brigid Garvey, but we know nothing else about the family.

We would like to find out more about the Folliards in County Mayo, as we are planning a trip there next year.
