Arthur Follows
Arthur Follows, 54, of Columbus Avenue, Niantic, died at his home Wednesday. He was born in Waterford, March 13, 1896, a son of William Follows and the late Elizabeth A. Wright Follows and had lived in Niantic 25 years. He was a member of Bayview Lodge, AF and AM, of Niantic and was a veteran of World War I. He was the owner of a plumbing, heating and steamfitting business in Niantic. Besides his father of Center Groton, he leaves his wife Mrs. Adelaide Payne Follows; a daughter, Mrs. George W. Miller of Niantic; three brothers, William Follows and Ernest Follows, both of Niantic, and John Follows of Minneapolis; three sisters, Mrs. Glenville Goss of Niantic, Mrs. Frank Burgess of New London, and Mrs. Edward MacDonald of Hartford; a grand-daughter and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Alderson-Prentis Funeral Home, New London. Burial will be in Head of the River Cemetery, East Lyme.
