I have Foncannon ancestors that originated in Logan, Ohio, then some of them migrated to Missouri. I have many photos of ancastors with embossments of photography studios inn Logan, Ohio. It might be worth a try to search in that area. Good luck. P.S. This branch of the family is from the marriage of Jacob Foncannon and Catherine Culp in the 1770s. They had a lot of children, perhaps your Foncannon ancestor is from that same union.
