I believe the subject is Henry (Cornelius) Fonda, who can be found at http://www.fonda.org/gedtree/1459.html
Here's some more information for Henry which hasn't all been posted there yet:
b. 10 Jan 1824, d. 16 Sep 1892; b. Watervliet, Albany Co., NY; 1850 & 1880 Census, Halfmoon, Saratoga Co., NY; 1860 & 1870 Census, Clifton Park, Saratoga Co., NY; o. Boatman, Carpenter
His wife, Elizabeth, is listed as Cornelia on some of the census records. This is her combined info:
b. 1829 in NY; 1850 Census, Halfmoon, Saratoga Co., NY; 1860 & 1870 Census, Clifton Park, Saratoga Co., NY; 1880 Census, Middletown, Saratoga Co., NY
My records indicate that Henry's father is Cornelius Isaac Fonda, and he has a son, Garret Lansing Fonda b. 1846.
I don't have a Garrett Lansing Fonda, b. abt 1800. There is a Garret T. B. Fonda b. 1808 in Caughnawaga (now Fonda), NY, but he is a distant relative. He appears in the 1840 Census for Montgomery County.
It is interesting that the son has the Lansing middle name. That leads me to think there may be something amiss. If you can give me more on the 1840 census record, maybe this can be pieced together.
