The funeral of George Fondersmith,
who died last Friday in Champaign,
took place yesterday afternoon from
the residence, Rev. C. N. Wilder of-
ficiating. Interment was in Mt.
Hope cemetery. Deceased was close
to 90 years of age, having been born
in Pennsylvania in 1814. He had been
a resident of this state since 1865 and
of Champaign since 1876. He leaves

The deceased was a gunsmith by

injuries in a street car accident and
in an accidental fall some years later
he had been forced to abandon. Physi-
