I am also looking for family history regarding my great-great grandmother's father Giuseppe Fontana. He was born in Lucca, Toscana in the mid to late 1800s. My mom is going to get me more specific information. I know that he immigrated from Lucca, Italy and married Mary Stewart of Paisley Scotland. They had two daughters: Ellen Angela or Angelina Fontana and Florence Fontana. They both settled in the Boston Area. Giuseppe remarried after his wife's death and resided in the North End section of Boston. I know that Giuseppe had several brothers and sisters that were in Lucca. I also know that he had Fontana relatives in Iowa. If anyone has any information, I would greatly appreciate it. I will try to compile as much data as I can. Thanks.
