I have been reading your messages about John L. Fletcher and Sara Foor Fletcher from the Bedford PA area.

My 2 great grandfather, Joseph Fletcher(born Feb 1832)and wife Sarah ? (born April 1846) are from the Welsh Run PA area which is close to Mercersburg PA. Their son, George W. Fletcher is my great grandfather. He was born in the Welsh Run PA area and died in Hagerstown MD. George's son, Elmer Charles Fletcher was my grandfather.

Are you familiar with these individuals. I can not find any information on the Fletchers of Welsh Run PA. My mother took me to the homestead of George Fletcher in the Welsh Run area and said they were farmers/moonshiners. She remembers her grandparents George and Clara Fletcher and visiting their home in PA. My grandmother is still alive (98 yrs old)living with my mother and lived with the Fletchers in the mountains near Mercersburg PA.

Any information you can provide would be appreciated.
