My Forbes line starts with Margaret Forbes born abt. 1829. I believe that her parents might have been Thomas (abt.1782-1867) and Mary Forbes. She married Joseph Moore of Hibbert Township, Perth County about 1847. Other Forbes families living near her were, Richard Forbes and his wife Ellen Hughes, John Forbes and his wife Jane Lannin, and George Forbes and his wife Hannah. George and John Forbes first lived in Merrickville, and then moved to Hibbert Township Perth County.
