Pronounced FOR'-BESS... Looking for his family. Born 1840 and died at The Cedar Creek Battle during the Civil War Oct. 20, 1864 and only had one son of the same name born a month after he died.. He was married to Almira Swanson. He was a resident of WV, Raleigh Co. and we know of no other family. Any hints or help will be welcome...
