Sara--I haven't been doing anything with Ancestry.com for quite a while and didn't see your post. you may have all your answers by now; but if not: Cordia Ethel Forbus married my Father, William Oscar Pratt in Ark. when they were both about 19 and they had 10 (!) children, of whom only one (certainly) and possibly a couple of others are still living. Their marriage ended in divorce sometime in the 30's--I am still searching for divorce records--and he married my mother allegedly in 1939. Cordia married more than once thereafter. I met her once when she was quite elderly and visiting one of her last living daughters, my half-sister. I had a lot of documents from census years before and during their marriage which I am now having to reproduce due to computer error. Cordias name is often misspelled or she is called Ethel in the census. Last name gets spelled freely also.(Forbes, Forbus, Faubus) please feel free to look at my family trees as soon as I can open them up (wo pratt/madge spratt, etc) and get in touch if i can heop.
