I'm still looking for Thomas Forcier who married Melvina Rondo/Rondeau in Vermont before 1865 when their daughter Mary Lavina Forcier was born. I am having no luck finding either one of these lines. I believe Thomas was born in Canada but may have been born in Vermont. Melvina may have been of Indian descent. But that may be Joseph-the family says there is some indian in one of these lines? I don't believe these are the same Thomas and Melvina that went to Washington as many of the dates don't match up. But Mary Lavina stated that her parents went on to have more children that she never met so the possibility is still there. Thomas Forcier worked at the Howe Mill in Brainerd, Minnesota. I am getting most of my info from census reports and I'm not sure they are very accurate. I would appreciate any help I can get with this as I have hit a brick wall. Thoams had a nephew, Rev. Joseph Forcier who lived in Little Falls, Minnesota in 1880.
