Have just seen your message from May 2007. You said that your Fords were from Islington. My Fords were from there too. Mine were William Ford 1849 and Harriet Livermore 1852. Their children were William 1873, Edward 1877, Mary Ann 1879 and Caroline 1886. They lived at City Garden Row, then later in Frome St., parish of St Peter. Any connection, Barbara?
