Surnames: Ford, Miller, McCaffrey
I am looking for information about my great, great, great, grandfather, Joseph Ford. Rome, Floyd County, Georgia. He was born 12 Jan 1802 and died 9 Mar 1872, and is buried at Colonial Heights Plantation. He built Colonial Heights Plantation, which is now "Birdsong" property. I have been unable to go back any further than Joseph however I believe his father may have been John "James" Ford. Can anyone help me?
