I am having trouble finding a birth/baptism record for my William Ford.

I am also unable to figure out who his mother is because I cant find a marriage for his father.

According to all the census records he was born in Bath, Somerset in either 1827 or 1829.

1851 marriage certificate (wife Sarah Elizabeth Crantz) gives his father as
John Calender Ford (deceased)

If anyone can throw some light on my errant ancestor I would be most appreciative :-)
