J. J. Ford Found Dead. J. J. Ford, jitney driver in Fairfax for a number of years, was found dead this morning about 7 o'clock. Mr. Ford retired as usual Thursday night without any complaint as to feeling bad, and when the boys awoke this morning found him lying on the floor dead.
It is known that Mr. Ford had been suffering from heart leakage, and this is given as cause of death. No arrangements have been made as yet for the funeral. An inquest over the rmains [sic] was held this morning, but to late for details at this time.
Mr. Ford leaves two little boys to mourn his loss.
Mr. Ford and two sons were living in rooms over the Fairfax Bakery, Mrs. Ford having died about three years ago, being killed in a cyclone. [The Osage Chief (Fairfax, Oklahoma) Friday 1 April 1921. Page 5, column 5.]
