Is anyone else researching the family of Benjamin Fordham and Lydia Jennett? I am interesting in discussing and resolving the following questions:

1) Was Benjamin married before he arrived in Philadelphia? In 1692 he acted as attorney for a Margaret Fordham "now deceased." Was Margaret his first wife? Were sons James and Richard (who are not named in the MD church records) the children of a first marriage?

2) Several "trees" say Benjamin was the son of John Fordham and Sarah Simpson of England. And, that this John Fordham died in 1683 in Philadelphia. Is there any proof of this?

3) In 1703 a James Fordham of London gave power of attorney to Benjamin Fordham of Annapolis. What was the relationship of this James Fordham to Benjamin Fordham?
