Can anyone shed light on a matter that is confusing me. I find an Olivia Fording married to an Emanual Clippinger and then I also find an Esther Fording married to Emanual Clippinger. Were these ladies sisters and one pass away and he married her sister? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Fordings in Ohio and Indiana

My Gr Gr Grandmother's name is Louise M. Fording b. 1867 died 24 Nov 1902. She married William G. Cramer (b. 1857 d. 25 Jun 1922) around 1891 and had at least one son Charles Faben Cramer (b. 1892). Louise and Charles lived in Toledo, Ohio as far as I know and are buried together in Woodlawn Cemetary.

I cannot find any information on her. I found a Lula Fording later spelled Luly M. Fording born in 1867 in Fort Wayne, Indiana in the 1860 and 1870 censuses and I am pretty sure this is the same person. Lula's parents are Isaac Fording and Sophia Stillwagon Fording. On Family Search on was able to find Isaac and Sophia in the North American Index. I believe Isaac's parents are Thomas Fording (1782-1862) and Esther Ewen (1791-1826). Some of Thomas and Esther's other children include Ewing Fording.

Thomas Fording --> Ewing Fording --> Leander Fording --> William G. Fording

I have read all of the postings on the Fording board and I think I have tapped into some of the same family lines. Can anyone confirm Isaac Fording in their family lines?? And can anyone confirm Lula is my Louise M??
