I found Abraham/Abram Fordyce/Foredice in 4 different census as having been born in KY, IN, OH, and NJ.

There is a family history on Ancestry that shows his mother as Mary Force (but no father listed). If this is true, his father would have been James Fordyce and both were from NJ. I believe that James and Mary were already in Ohio before 1811. If Abraham is their son, he would have been born in Ohio.

Mary Force's brother John was my gggrandfather. I have a little Force information if you're interested.
