I have information on the Fordyce's that are relatives of james Forcyce Dorn in Aberdeenshire Schtland in 1684. He immigrated to America and settled in Westerly, Washington co., Rhode Island. Part of the family settled in Ohia (Morgan Co.) and then to Nova Scotia,McClean Co., Ill, then to Iowa where my ancestors ended up. Somewhere along the line the spelling was changed from Fordyce to Fordice.

If any of this information sounds familar or sounds like it would be helpful to you I would be happy to share my research with you.

S Cooper
