Thelma was a daughter of Henrietta Conner and John J. Duchmann and granddaughter of Bridget Mullins and Richard Conner.

Bridget Mullins and Richard Conner are my maternal great great grandparents.

I'd like to find out more about Bridget Mullins first husband, John Roger Wheeler. Bridget had three children by her first husband; John Roger, Jr., Mary Ellen, and Laura. Mary Ellen was the only one to have children.

Joe or Floro foret

Joe and Floro Foret had a son named Linn Foret in 1903, Joe came to America from Belgium in 1896. We can find Joe and Floro on Linn Foret's birth records in South Fayette, Sturgeon Pa in 1903, we think because he was a coal miner he was killed in one of the mind diasters in Pa. in 1908. does anyone know how to find any other info on the Marianna mind diasater> There is a man named Joe Folia, which I feel is Joe Foret. From this point on I can find nothing, do not know how to find out where they would be buried or what happen to Floro. Linn(leon) was put into an orphanage.

Yes. My family can trace its roots to Northen France all the way back to the 1st Century. We actually have records of the taxes paid to the Roman Government at the time.

As it would happen, my mother and father are cousins with the Autin and Foret families inter-marrying for years. We know excaly how and why we left France and how we came to America via Holland.

The family originated in Francois, France...and that grandfather carried the name and title Le Marquis du Francois de la Foret.

This grandfather traveled to New Amerstand, then the U.S. is buried in Guyana. I have visited his gravesite.

A similar pattern exist between the Foret and Guidry family, with the exception that the Guidry's left France for Spain. That great-grandfather 5 generations removed was Pierre-Paul Guidry and changed his name to Pablo-Pedro.

My gr-grandfather Nicholas Feller married Madelena Forett. So, my gr-gr-grandfather was Nicholas Forret(spelling used in USA). He was born in northern France, but moved up to Luxemburg where he married Margaret Falen. That is all i know about his ancestry...........Nicholas Feller also had Foret ancestry on his mother's side. His grandmother was Marie Forret/Foret(abt 1771), her father being Michel Foret. Michel's father was Nicholas Foret. They all came from little towns/farms just south of the Luxemburg border.......Does anyone have Foret ancestry going back to the early 1700's in northern France?

Leon was born in Sturgeon, Pa Nov.5, 1903 He
was orphaned and raised in foster homes until he was 16 when he set out on his own. He settled down in Chicago, Il. He has a sister whose name is June Foret. Leon lived in Corpus Christi Texas for a while. He worked at Douglas Aircraft in Chicago at Mid Way Airport during 2nd world war. He also has a daughter name Charlene Storey who lives in Okeechobee Fl.. Leon died in Oct of 1984 in Okeechobee, Florida.
He has 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren all living in Okeechobee, Fl.. Eugene Foret lives in Casa Grande Az. We are interested in finding a family history or if there are any relatives. Thank you .
