Forinash's of West Virginia

Classification: Query
Surnames: Forinash/Bozarth/Fornash/Morrison
My gr. gr. grandfather was Nathan Wesley Forinash (b) abt.1820. I have been at a dead end for a year now on who his father was. After talking to several cousins, they seem to think he was a son of a Charles Forinash who came to America from Wales with 2 of his brothers prior to 1820. The story goes... Nathan was married in WV his wife died while going down the Ohio river (no one knows what her name was or any dates) his wives' family took their only child. Nathan settled near Portsmouth, Scioto Co. Ohio. He married Eliza Ann Steen in 1844. The family says he couldn't go back to Virginia because his wife Eliza was a Indian, some think she was Shawnee and maybe the daughter of Chief Eagle Wing.
Well here is my delima... First I can find no records whatsoever on Nathan Wesley Forinash before his marriage in Feb. 1844. And i can find no information on a Shawnee Chief named Eagle Wing or Eagle Feather who could be Eliza's father. Plus the marriage license shows her name to be Steen. I haven't seen the license myself. But a cousin has and says there's no information on it about either of their parents. Also I have searched well over 20+ "Forinash/Bozarth/Morrison" family genealogy sites. No where is there a Nathan Wesley Forinash listed. Only Nathan I found was Nathan Theodore Forinash. I have found a few variations on the spelling of our surname. i've checked those too. For those of you who have the Forinash/Bozath/Morrison sites, please recheck your information. I found many incorrect dates associated with the individuals you have listed, particulary those regarding Mrs. Bozarth who fought off the Indians and later married Charles Forinash some have her listed as marrying Jacob Forinash and others have Uriah. Very confusing. No one seems to know when or where this Mr. Forinash (Charles, Jacob, Uriah) came from some have Wales listed but nothing more. Anyway due to all this confusion i got to thinking. Maybe Jacob, Uriah and Charles are 3 different people, thus the 3 brothers who came from Wales together. Except they all lived together which explains the confusion? I am guessing here. Does anyone have any concrete evidence of any Forinash traveling from Wales to America prior to 1800??? If so, please email me. I could really use some help in unraveling this mess.
Thanks! Signed, going insane here! LOL
