Surnames: Fort, Menefee, Ford
Looking for information on the parents of Richard Fort, Sr., and Sophia Menefee both were from Tuskegee. Richard and Sophia were married in 1897. They had 9 children and they later moved to Cleveland. I'm working on the family history and would like to know the names of their parents. On Richards's death certificate his parents are listed as Dan and Sarah. One of Richard and Sophia's sons, Richard Fort, Jr., changed his name to Ford after he and his family moved to Cleveland.
