I notice that there are a number of researchers that are at the James Fothergill & Mary Parkin Brick Wall. James was born in 1699/1700 at Deepgill. His parents were John Fothergill and Isabel Rudd. His grandparents were John Fothergill & Jane Birkbeck --also of Deepgill. James is usually associated with the Birkrigg-A line which Richard Fothergill published in Volume 2. He gives further, though somewhat sketchy, coverage of the Deepgill line in Volume 1.
