Mildred J. Fought, 76,
of Summerdale,
passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving children on Wednesday, August 17, 2011,
at of Camp Hill.
She was the loving wife of the late Lloyd M. Fought, Sr., who recently passed. They celebrated 58 years of marriage and now are reunited to be together forever.
She was born in Summerdale, Pa.,
to the late Nelson W. and Isabell B. Boyer.
She was a homemaker who dedicated her life to raising her children, taking care of family, and helping all who needed her. She was a member of the Summerdale United Methodist Church and Maranatha Sunday School Class.
She enjoyed bowling, going to casinos with her late husband, music, gardening, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her five children: Deb Miller and her husband Jim of Lititz, Dawn Rothrock and her husband Mike of Mechanicsburg, Darla Putt and her husband Brian of Elizabethtown, Lloyd Fought, Jr. and his wife Suzette of Etters Denise Erb and her husband Keith of Enola; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, and three brothers: Donald Boyer of Marysville, Leroy Boyer and Richard Boyer both of Enola.
She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
In following the wishes of Mildred there will be no viewing. A visitation will be held from 10 a.m.,- 11 a.m., Saturday, August 20, 2011, at Sullivan Funeral Home, in Enola, followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Trindle Springs Cemetery, in Mechanicsburg, following service.
