I believe this woman (my 6-greats grandma) was married to Casper Shirk (b. 1710 Berne Switz) and had children with him, not his brother, Joseph Shirk (1712-1777). I believe Joseph married Catherine Forry. Since both men lived into old age it seems strange that Magdelena would have been married to both. Can someone clear this up? My relatives descend from Magdelena's youngest son Andrew (1753-1829).
