My grandfather Felix George Foulsham was from Fromme(sp?), England and had a brother named Oscar. Felix married Clara Trend from Bath,Eng. and came to the US as a grounds keeper for Westinghouse and others. Clara was an upper house maid until the were given a carriage house in Bethlehem, Pennsylvannia and started a Florist Shop.
It was until recently that we found out about Foulsham, Eng. when my brother George happened upon the web page for the city.
I am just beginning to find information out about the Foulsham in the US and abroad. Let me know if anything I mentioned could be helpful. I will try to findout more about Felix and Oscar.

Hingham England early 1600's immigrated to America 1630. Settled in New Jersey, I believe. May have been Presbyterian Minister? His children were in America. I know nothing of this family in England. Would be very grateful for any information. thank you for your time and help. God bless. Linda

I am intrigued by your name, "Mary Leu": My paternal grandmother (Allentown, PA) and one of her daughter's were named Mary Leuvenia McLaughlin. My father was John Ralph McLaughlin who died when I was less that 2 years old. He had two sisters: Mary Leuvenia and "Patsy." According to my mother, Mary Reilly McLaughlin, my aunt married a Foulsham and moved to TX for her health when I was a very small child. I am very interested in your reply!

John Foulsham (Folsom) came to the US along with his bride Mary Gilman Folsom on The Diligent in 1638. They first settled in Hingham, MA before later moving to Exeter, NH.

Foulsham's have been in Canada to.
However here is only a handfull that I
know of. All of which are my direct family
and I know that we came from the town
of Foulsham in England. Past that any info

The info I have relates to a John Foulsham who came to Hingham, MA from Hingham England in 1638. Some of his descendants (my branch) stayed in the New England area (Exeter, NH) and were influential in the American revolution.

Mary I need birth dates and when Robert Foulsham, and
Clara Trend came from England. There are Foulsham's in
Nelson and Christchurch, New Zealand. I was there in 1997.

My father Robert Foulsham was born in Lee,Ma.
to Felix Foulsham(from Frome,England) and
Clara Trend(from Bath,England). Both were
in service and came to US,he as a grounds
keeper for a wealthy family and she as an
upper house maid. They eventually settled

children were Irene,Ernest,Bud,Robert.They
attended Nativity Church and ran Foulsham

Foulsham was changed to Folsom in or around 1600. When they reached America.
The spelling in England was ffoulsham and ffulsham also Foulsham, Follsum, Folsum, Fulsham, Foulsam, Folsam, and Foulsem. I would like some
history of any Foulsham that is out there.
