Am trying to distinguish between the John Foust and John W. Foust appearing in the 1850 Lauderdale County Census. I am particularly interested in the line of the John Foust listed in that Census as husband to "May" (perhaps a misspelling??) whose children are listed in the 1850 census as Adolphus, Allen, Ester, John C., Lucy, and Thomas. Also, if anyone needs copies emailed to them, I have Lauderdale County marriage documents of John Foust and Amy Curtis, William Foust and Mary E. Stutts, A.T. Foust and Mary Gooch, Adolphus Foust and Edna Clemmons, Louis Foust and Kate Gooch, LAA. Foust and Willie Ann Gooch, John B. Foust and Nancy Benson, John W. Foust and Mary E. Wright. I have a short list of questions/sources of confusion if anyone can help. Thanks.
