On my ggg grandmother's grave, she is listed as "Barbry". She was a Foust prior to marrying a Meltabarger. I am very interested in finding her parents and sibling. She was in TN by the time of her marriage, but I'm not sure where her family was from before that. NC is a possibility. She was part Cherokee Indian, so I wouldn't be surprised if her family had come from some of the Cherokee lands and certainly there were those in NC.
