In the past I have been in touch with others interested in learning more about John FOWELL (c1816-1878) who settled in Oxford County, Ontario, Canada.

We all have been trying to find John's roots in England....
Well, I have just found John's death certificate (thanks to Ancestry's Canadian upgrade..)
It says that John died Dec. 28, 1878, Oxford County, Ontario, Canada.........
and!!! that he was born Plymouth, Devon, England, c1816!!!

I believe that this is the clue that we were seeking..........so now:
Looking to connect with all researching the FOWELL name in Devon and Ontario..........
