I am the son of Martha Franklin Fowle, 1913 to 1982, Maima Fowle Armstrong(had a daughter Cornelia and a son I beleive is Joe) was my mother's cousin, Mother's father was Arthur Herbert Fowle, there were five brothers and one sister.
I have letters from my mothers aunt Cornelia who died in 1932. My grandfather was named after Arthur Herbert, William H. Fowle II's commander in the Civil War. I have three letters sent to him including one from Robert E. Lee and a family crest ring that he wore when he marched out of Alexandria south.
