hello. i am looking for lovina eastwood. but one of her daughter's death certificates says her mother is Helen Frabel. Lovina Eastwood
was born in 1830. Are the Frabel's from Germany? possibly my Lovina was a frable at one point. We feel there must be a death, adoption, something cause it is a total mystery who our lovina eastwood's mom and dad were. .. and where helen frabel fits in. it says she was born in Clayton, New York. thank you

Hi! I believe Susanna is my GGG Grandmother on my mother's side. I've heard stories from my grandmother about her. I've never heard of Anna, but that doesn't mean anything! I can ask my Grandmother if she remembers anything like that. I've been told that Susanna was Lenni Lenape. My grandmother Joan Davidson (Frable), has a book about the tribe that she was discussed in. If you're interested, I can see if I can get more information from her.

From what my Dad has found, Thomas and Susanna had a son named Llayl Frabel who married Lizzie Hogan. They had a son named Claude Frabel, who married Beatrice Kessler. They had a daughter named Joan Frabel, who married Fredrick Davidson (my grandparents). I have to verify all that with my grandmother, though. My dad just emailed me this info yesterday.

Let me know if you'd like more info. I'll see what I can get.

Candace

Thomas & Susanna Frable (Frevel)

I'm trying to confirm a story that has run in my family about Thomas and Susanna "adopting" an America Indian baby girl whose family was killed. According to the story in 1879/1880 several America Indian families were killed and six babies were orphaned and sent to live with "white" families.

The baby girl that was adopted by Susanna and Thomas was named Anna S. Bisel (later Parson and then Gum) born in 1979. She shows up in a 1880 census with the Frable family.

Although no one is quite sure of the story, since there is no documentation we have been able to find, I've also heard maybe Susanna was the American Indian and someone mentioned in an email the other day it has also been rumored to be her father Joseph Gehoh (Geho). At any rate, just trying to verify if any of this is true and what tribe she would have been from. Anna S. Bisel would be my Great Great-Grandmother with Susanna being my Great, Great, Great-Grandmother. Thanks in advance!

Deanna

Hi,

Do you know what country your GGGrandfather came from? My husbands GGFather was born in Prussia. Spelling of the name there was "Frobel" with an umlout over the O. But when his branch came to Texas, the Spelling changed to Froebel. His naturalization records have the Frevel spelling, although he signed them Froebel. I have seen this name spelled at least a dozen ways. E-mail me if you get this.

Thanks
Barbara Froebel

I grew up in Bellivelle,N.J., I lived at 243 Williams Street, and went to school with Janet. It was No.8 school. I remember Janet had long red hair, and we were the best of friends. Can some one please help me find her.I believe her mothers name to be Edith,
but can't be sure. I know she had a brother Wally, and we called him "booper".I would really love to reunite with Janet, before we are both 50. I have several pictures of her and I. My mothers name was Geneva. We moved to California, and never got a chance to say good-bye.If any one knows where I can find her, please let me know as soon as possible. I looked up the Frable name in the family tree makers geneology, and saw her name listed there. It would mean so much to me.
Thank you for any help you can give me.
If for any reason,I should not be able to be contacted by my e-mail address. Please drop me a line at 12920 E. I also have a copy of the manuscript of Ira Fravel's book Some Decendents of Moses Fravel/Frable. The book is available through the Family History Center, Church of Latter Day Saints. You can order on line at Family History Center Web Site. Any information you have concerniing Fravel Geneology I would appreciate getting from you. Thanks and good luck. I uploaded a lot of material to www.gencircles.com at the Fravel surname club. Maybe some helpful info their. It is certainly not omplete. I have not add nearly all I know and there is a great deal of things I have yet to connect.

Looking for any information on Lovina Frable. Born 1853 in Monroe County Pennsylvania. Married Theodore Handelong aprox. 1877 in Pennsylvania. Possible variations on her name are Enveine/Arvine. I am told that after Theodore passed away she married a man named Edward Baker. This had to have happened between 1909 and 1915. The only evidence of that fact is she is listed as Lovina Baker in her mother's obituary in 1915.

I've been thinking about buying one.
I have alot of info already. This is the family line that I'm following: Isaac-Moses-George Sr.-Joseph-Timothy-Jeremiah-Max. I need info on Timothy & Jeremiah. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks,
Cassie

William Martin Frable - looking for relatives

Hello,
I am looking for relatives for my son. His name is Curtis.
His father died when he was 6. Richard Wayne Frable. His grandfather was Willam Martin Frable. Unfortunatley I can only remember that they were Dutch (?) and from the Eastern states, possibly Ohio. I really don't know.
I think it would be wonderful if I could find a living member of Bill's family, since my son is the last of the line on this branch of the tree.
If you can give a clue or two please email me.
If you are family please don't hesitate.
We would love to hear from you.
Curtis in 20yrs old and in the US Navy in San Diego.
Thank you
Pam Kantola

My grandfather's name was George Washington Frable born 1888 died 1970 married to Mable Ruth Rinker. My grandfather's father was William Henry Frable married to Ann Elizabeth Stocker. I believe his father was Mathias or Matthew. As you see things are starting to get sketchy. I have been trying to connect to the Moses line. My family is from the Stroudsburg-Broadheadsville area. I was wondering if anyone can fill in some of the blanks.

Hi,
Are the Frebel's (and other spellings) you're looking for from Germany? I have some from Altenbreitungen Germany. Daughter married an Eberlein, they settled in Portage, WI and Blue Earth, MN. I have an old German letter from 1859. Written by a Frebel from Hazel Green, Grant co., WI sent to a Freber c/o a Degelman in Paterson, NJ. I could pick out the names, but can't read the letter. I've been researching the Eberlein line for some time. I'm just starting the Frebel research. I'm kind of looking for needles in haystacks!
Thanks!
Skip
imaracingmom@yahoo.com

He was married to Catherine (who passed in childbirth) and then to Sarah Borger. I believe his father was Paul Frable.Other names that have popped up from time to time are Issac and Moses. Thats all the info I have. If anyone out there knows anything, please let me know! Thanks.
