It would be helpful to know where in WI they came from. My ancestor, Betsey Ann Fradenburgh(1809-1879) came from NY to Juneau County WI where she lived many years and also died there. Her husband was David Lancaster. Eileen

Hey Terri! Do you know where I can get a detailed Fradenburg family tree? I know Jerry (Fradenburg) has one, but that guy doesn't return calls or emails....I need one from about the turn of the century (1900) to present date, or close to the present date....um....okee....Tell everyone I said "Hello", and wondering how Brody's doin' with the band....Boo-bye for now...

Hi Jan:

I don't think my George was a preacher.
My mother's maiden name was Lenora Belle Fradenburg.
Since it is not a common name here in the US maybe
we could find a connection somewhere. My
grandfather's name was Frank Thomas Fradenburg
born 12/3/1890. GreatGrandfather's name was
George Frank Fradenburg born in Germany, don't
know birthdate but he was married in 1889 to
Josephine Sumner who was born March 1867 in
North Carolina. That is all the information
I have.

NOT SURE IF CONNECTED BUT I FOUND A FRADENBURG IN MY HX THAT WAS A TRAVELING PREACHER THAT WENT FROM NY TO SOUTHERN STATES TO BE A CIRCUIT PREACHER. I HAVE NOT WORKED ON THE HX IN AWHILE BUT IF INTERESTED, I WILL DIG INTO MY 'STUFF'. GEORGE IS A COMMON NAME IN THE HX I HAVE, BUT COULD JUST BE COINCIDENCE.
