Funeral services were held Monday, June 26, at St. Mary's Catholic church in Pontiac, for Louis F. Fraher, 77, who died last Thursday in St. James hospital, Pontiac. he had been ill one week.
Rev. J.T. Shields officiated and pallbearers were John Kerrins, Charles Culkin and Charles Bergan, all of Chatsworth, Francis Mulligan and Charles Fraher, both of Saunemin and John Lahey of Joliet. Burial was in St. Patrick's cemetery, Chatsworth.
He was born June 6, 1890, at Cullom, a son of Edward and Mary Conraoy Fraher. He married Nellie Baldwin in October, 1911, at Chatsworth. she died in 1939.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Durward (Mary) Thompson of Chatsworth and Mrs. Raymond (Helen) Goodrich of Pontiac and a son James of Kankakee. hew was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.
He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church at Pontiac.
He farmed near Chatsworth until 1945, after which he was a meat cutter until his retirement three years ago.
