My mother is a Franco, Maria Franco, 1 of 8 children born to Ana Rita Pena & Bienvenido Franco.
She is also, an identical twin to Maria Digna Franco. The other 6 siblings -- Modesto, Fidelina, Andre, Josephina, Rafael.

She married Edward Quinones who was born in Spain. Daughter Blanca Ester Quinones was born December 1916 Guatamala. Blanca dropped that name and began using Esther Q. RUDOLPH L. "RUDY" FRANCO, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2003 at VA Medical Center - Houston. He was born January 9, 1929 and resided in Houston for 74 blessed years. Rudy was a veteran of WWII and served in the US Army during the occupation of Japan. He was the owner of Franco's Air Conditioning and Refrigeration for 30 years and owner of Franco's Meat Markets. Preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Melchora Franco; sisters, Minerva Toquinto, Susie and Marcella Franco, and grandson Joe Alex Martinez. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary C. Franco; son, Rudy Steven Franco and his wife Cheryl; daughters, Jeanette Franco Nickell, Eva Wade and her husband Barry; sister, Evelyn Franco. Also he is survived by his precious grandchildren; Cindy Maria Martinez, Louisa Martinez, Taylor Nickell, Jacob Nickell and Sydney Rae Franco; four great grandchildren; and his many special nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. DoD Identifies Marine Casualty

The Department of Defense announced today the death of a Marine who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Pfc. Jason Franco, 18, of Corona, Calif., died Oct. 31 from a non-hostile incident in Al Anbar province, Iraq. He was assigned to Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 11, Marine Aircraft Group 11, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, Miramar, Calif.

The incident is currently under investigation.

Antonio Franco

Antonio Franco, 91, of Banning passed away on Sept. 22 at Miravilla Care Center in Cherry Valley.

Born Nov. 27, 1912 in Daly City, Calif. he has lived in Banning for the past 50 years.

He was a self-employed farmer for 50 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife Erma S. Franco who passed away Jan. 28, 1996.

He is survived by his daughter, Shirley Darnell of Cabazon and 2 grandchildren.

Family and friends gathered for private family services.

Funeral arrangements were handled by Weaver Mortuary in Beaumont.

My grandfather's name was Salvador Franco and married Concepcion (Concha) Enriquez (circa early 1900s). They had 5 children Virginia, Olga, Ignacio, Robert and Judy. I am in touch or know how to contact each of these famlies. I am trying to find any info prior to Salvador. I have been told both Salvador and Concha migrated from Mexico into Iowa and then moving on to Illinois. I believe Salvador's father is Esteban Franco and married to Florencia or Florencita. I am looking for my great aunt, Maria Franco Lowes. She lived in Telingua, Texas (Brewster County) in the early 1900's. She married a man by the last name of Lowes/Loews and moved to Houston, Texas. My grandfather on my mother's side was Pasquale Franco, who came from Cusano Mutri, Italy. He came the the US and spent some time in West Virginia. He then went to Viriginia and married my grandmother. He had 4 children, Gertrude, Christine, David, and Tony. My mother is Christine and she is now 96 years old. My grandfather had brothers. I know there was Andrew in New Haven, CT. and I am sure there were two other brothers that I did not know. I believe that they may have gone to West Virginia to settle, but I do not know where.It is quite possible that the Franco's in W.VA do not know they have realatives in VA. Am trying to find info on The Franco family, namely:
Antonio Franco age 29 in 1910 born in Texas
with wife Valintina age 22 born in Mexico, sons Benino age 3 born in Texas and Manuel age 11 months born in Texas. In 1920 they had more children, Secundina(?) age 5, Juana age 4, Isabel age 2 and Rita age 1 all born in Texas.
Then:
Bicente/Vincente/Vincent Franco age 32 in 1930 born in Texas, died 1/15/1978 in Pecos Co., Ft. Stockton, Texas. Wife Santos age 36 in 1930 born in Texas. Children were: Juanita age 8, Julian age 7, Raymondo age 5, Rita age 2, Bonioficio age 9 months all born in Texas.
The name also has been spelled Franko. I know in 1910, 1920 and 1930 they were in Brewster Co., Texas. Any help is appreciated. Thank you in advance.
