I am looking for information on my great grandfather Amable ( Amos) Francoeur. He was born in 1850, I believe in the Three Rivers area in Quebec. He immigrated to the US in 1865. He was married to Lena Genore in the 1870s and lived in upper Michigan. My grand father was Joseph Francoeur. They changed their names to Hart. He is not the Amable Francoeur from New Brunswick, who later went to Minnesota. I am at a dead end. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
