So, your grandpa Pat and my grandmother Margaret (Franey) McMahon were 1st cousins, which I think makes us, third cousins, since our great-grandfathers were brothers. My great-grandfather was Walter Joseph Franey, Sr., son of Henry and Agnes Franey, but he stayed in Kansas City, when the rest of his family moved to Bakersfield. I was actually in contact with one of your Great Uncles, James I believe it was, in the fall of 2003 who sent me the whole genealogy of your clan.
