Hi there,

My name is also Steve Frangos. My parents are both from Greece and my father Michael Frangos lived is Xilocastro (close to corinth) where most of his relatives resided. My father, his three siblings and his parents (my grandparents) Steven Michael Frangos and Patricia Frangos immigrated to Canada in the late 50's and early 60's.

My father also had uncles, auntes and cousins we immigrated to the United States (Chicago area) that also lived in the same town in in Greece.

I don't know if this helps at all.

Hello:

I was just surfing the net and found your message. My last name is Frangos and my family comes from Greece. My father's father was named Stavros and was born in the village of Vlahopoulon in the Pelopponesus. The name Frangos is not that common although Greek families by that name can also be found on a couple of the greek islands, Chios and Karpathos.

My mothers' Maiden name is Frangos. My grandfathers name was Theodore Frangos. He had two brothers Nick and I cant recall the others name. I always forget it. My mother is in Texas USA and my grandfather has long since passed but he lived in Wyoming USA and his brothers are currently in Colorado USA I think. I am in the US Air Force and am in Louisiana. I will try to get more info on my family history and pass it to you. If you could send me your E-Mail address, I will promise to keep it private. By the way, I was born in 1969 and I have a brother who was born in 1968 so were all in the same time frame. Interesting if there is a closer connection than what is appearant.
