Thanks you for your reply. I am sure that my Frank family is some how related to John and Elizabeth. I have a Martin Frank that married a Sarah Aragbright in 1816 and lived in Virginia. The names are so close that they must be cousins.
Martin was born in 1795 in Virginia, at least according to the information I have, served in the militia in 1812 as he is listed on the roll call. After his marriage he moved to Ohio and bought land and stayed in Champaign County Ohio until his death. I found a Cathy Frank that married a Christian Berry and they are also in the family. She claims that her parents died and had been on her own for a number of years. The biggest wall is Martin's parents. Did they land in Pennsylvania and then to Virginia, but I have never been able to find Martin's parents. Unfortunately I have cannot travel to search out dates as my husband is Ill and so am house bound.
But thank you for the information you sent you have been a great help. Hope to hear from you again we might fing we are distant cousins. My e-mail is cfergus4@bex.net
Thanks again
Carol
