The family I am a member of is descended from Georg Frankenstein, who immigrated to Cincinnati in 1880 (born in 1854 in Dammheim, Germany)and lived in the "Peach Grove" area of western Cincinnati....we know there were other Frankensteins in the same general area and surmise they were related and may have come to the US at least shortly before Georg...by the way, he married Maria Elizabeth Wissemeyer (the ship's records show them as husband and wife when they sailed to the US, but official records show their wedding to have been held 6 Mar 1881 at St. Martin's German Evangelical Church in Cincinnati)Georg's sister Anna Maria, married John Wissemeyer (Maria's brother) ......any light you can shed on your branch and how and at what point they are connected would be of great help....one of Georg's descendents is planning a Frankenstein family reunion for Memorial Day weekend this year in Toledo and, if we can make the connection, would love to invite all of your branch to the reunion....Thanks for the reply
