We have found that our branch of the frankfort family came to the U.S.A. in the 1700's from Kronach germany. We don't know their departure route, they came to maryland, most took up residence in the cumberland valley. The next generation to Pennsylvania. and Indiana. By marrige they are related to the Friends, of Friendsville Maryland. Any more help would be appreciated and if I can be of any help please leave a message.

My Frankfort line (Southhampton)

I have a line of Frankforts that so far has revealed nothing but brick walls. My g-g-grandmother Elizabeth Margaret FRANKFORT's mother was a HALLOCK, In 1863, Benjamin Franklin HALLOCK gave Maggie a signed photo album, he was Maggie's cousin. so I believe that her mother was a HALLOCK.

The Album also contains the surnames of MABIE, FELTER,

All of these pictures have been scanned and I more than happy to send them to anyone who is interested.

There are not a lot of FRANKFORTs out there, so you would think this would be a snap, right?

ha ha

Adam
adamaustin@mindspring.com
