Looking for information on Barbara Fraser BEFORE she arrived in Yamachiche refugee camp in Quebec in the late 1700s. We believe she may have lived in Tryon County NY (now Delaware Cty) with loyalist husband Hector Morrison, but as yet unable to prove this Hector is the same Hector which we know to be the name of her husband. Also looking for information on Barbara's parents, grandparents etc...probably in Scotland, since we know that she and Hector married there in the early 1770s. Any information would be appreciated.
