I am still searching for information for Albert and his wife, Mary Ellen (called Ellen or Ella in censuses.)

Their first two children were born in Virginia. I found and Albert in Rappahannock, VA (sp?) in the 1870 census, age 14. That fits Albert's age at the time. The status was listed as F. S. Since the head of the household was not his father, George, I assume that to mean farm servant.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!
