A Freed Family Reunion, for ALL FREEDS of any spelling, will be held Saturday, June 16, 2007 at Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. This location is in Beaver County, northwest of Pittsburgh, and easily accessible from major highways. For details, go to the following website: http://www.geocities.com:80/gerry_freed/Freed.htm

It should be an exciting day, with many family-type activities planned. Tina Mathis and Gerry Freed have spent several months in planning this event, and you can contact them via email at the Reunion website.

Let me emphasize that this Reunion is for ALL Freeds of any spelling: Freed, Fried, Fread, Friedt, Freet, etc. Come to have a good time meeting your distant cousins and find out more about the Freed families.

I, Jim Freed, of Delaware, Ohio (as administrator of the Freed Rootsweb Mailing list and the Freed Surname DNA project) will be giving a short presentation on the colonial Freeds and on DNA studies associated with all Freeds.

See the details of the day's activities on the website, and find driving directions, motels, etc.
